Walnut Pesto Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
- 1 tsp black pepper
In a food processor combine all of the ingredients and process until smooth.
Serving suggestions: Use on chicken, pork, shrimp, pasta, tomatoes, asparagus, sliced Italian bread. Tip: This can be frozen for future use. I store mine in a freezer zip lock bag. Remember to eliminate as much air as possible & label and date the bag.
