- Bratwurst, each link sliced into 6 pieces
- Bacon, each slice cut in half
Preheat oven to 375, spray boiler pan with non-stick spray.
Wrap each bratwurst piece with half a bacon slice. Secure with a toothpick. Place on a broiler pan and cook for about 30 minutes, until the bacon is golden brown and the sausage is cooked thoroughly.
These were inspired by Mark’s Brother-in-Law, Ced. He served us bacon wrapped sausage on Christmas and I absolutely loved them. Well I didn’t have any ground sausage in the freezer, but I did have Bratwurst links. If you’re a meat eater, try this way of cooking the two pork items together. They are so delicious.
