- 1 cup “Onion Tomato Salsa” (see my recipe)
- 2 1/4 cup Bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 Tb salted butter, melted
- 1/8 tsp garlic salt
Preheat oven 450 and butter two 9 inch cake pans.
In a large bowl combine the Bisquick, milk and salsa. Stir until blended. Drop by the heaping spoonful onto the cake pans. (This is a very moist batter) Stir the garlic salt into the melted butter and brush the tops and sides of the biscuits. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the biscuits have lightly browned.
Suggestions: We absolutely love these drop biscuits. Serve with butter, or if you like serve with a nice sausage pan gravy. I also think these biscuits would be a wonderful addition to a plate of spaghetti.
