Butter Browned Beer Bread

There’s really no recipe for this one. When I moved here to Evansville and went out to eat at my first country-style restaurant my meal was served with a thick slice of butter browned beer bread. It’s a delightful accompaniment with any dish.

In a large skillet melt a couple of tablespoons of salted butter. Add thick slices of any beer bread, try my recipes they work great. Over medium high heat fry each side of the bread until a crust is formed. Serve warm.
