Blackberry Barbecue Sauce

Blackberry Barbecue Sauce

  • 2 cups fresh Blackberries
  • 1 Tb yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce with green chiles

Combine all of the ingredients in your food processor and pulse until smooth. Refrigerate for a couple of hours so that the sauce has time for the flavors to come out and it thickens just a bit. I love this BBQ sauce on chicken, fish, lamb and pork. Or try using it when you are grilling fruit such as pineapple and mango.

Hi Elizabeth, not sure how long it would last in the refrigerator. I generally make it for use the same or next day. Hope that helps a bit.
