Pilgrim Hat Cookies

This is a fun little recipe for Thanksgiving Day. I found it in one of those recipe racks at the checkout are of the grocery store. I think it was from Betty Crocker, but it could have been Taste of home, I’m not sure. The children thought they were cute, but the Adults couldn’t quit eating them.

  • 1 package fudge-striped cookies
  • 1 tube of yellow frosting
  • a bag of miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Teeny Tiny Miniature M&Ms, you only need the orange ones.

Remove the paper from the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and apply a layer of yellow frosting around the top edge. Place frosting side down on the bottom of the fudge-striped cookie. The frosting will works as glue between the peanut butter cup and the cookie and looks like a hatband. Add the mini orange M&M as a buckle. There you have a Pilgrim Hat Cookie.
